EquestrianCamping.com was built from real trips, real miles, and a lot of trial and error. After spending countless hours researching places to camp and ride—only to show up and find missing details, unclear access, or setups that didn’t quite work for horses—it became clear there had to be a better way.

This site exists to make that process easier.

Everything here is based on our own experiences, observations, and opinions from actually being on the ground with our horses. What works for us—or what we notice—may not always match what you experience, and that’s okay. The goal is to give you a realistic starting point so you can decide what fits your setup and expectations. Most of what you’ll find here is centered around Colorado and the surrounding states, and as we explore more, we’ll continue to share those findings here.

The focus isn’t on marketing or fluff—it’s on the details that matter when you’re hauling horses: access, setup, riding options, and what to realistically expect when you arrive.
